Warhammer 40,000 Crusade:**THE NACHMUND GAUNTLET**
**ARMY SIZE:** 1000pts
**DATE:** Sunday August 17, 2025
**TIME:** 11:45 – 4:15
**DROP-IN FEE:** NONE!
For this Crusade, every week's games will be played with 1000 point armies and will follow all the mission rules from the Nachmund Crusade book.
Crusade campaigns are a NON-COMPETITIVE way to play a Warhammer 40,000 league. These campaigns are a great way for players to forge a narrative for their army: each battle results in experience being gained by the units in the player’s army; and as their experience points accumulate, the units will earn new in-game abilities and equipment!
Crusade campaigns encourage cinematic moments, progress in growing players’ armies—and adding personality to each player’s army as it navigates the trials and tribulations of the variety of battles they fight in.
*FORMAT*
This campaign will run for the month of June, every Sunday afternoon--except for the last Sunday of June (that's our Flames of War day every month).
*NO PAINTING REQUIREMENT FOR MODELS*
There is no painting requirement for armies that will be used to play in the Crusade, but they must be assembled and be on proper-sized bases.
**FUNDAMENTALS OF IN-STORE GAMING AT IMAGINARY WARS**
*WYSIWG MODEL REQUIREMENTS*
‘What You See Is What You Get’ means all models have their primary weapons appropriately modelled on the miniature; the store plays does play loose enough with WSIYWG, so long as the player intention behind any variance is honest (ie: *not* using small models to represent big models or having an all-sword unit represent an al heavy-weapons unit etc etc).
*PROXIES & 3D PRINTED MODELS*
- Straight-up proxies ("these marines are actually Ork Boyz" etc) is NOT allowed.
- 3D Printed models are not allowed.
- More...inspired proxies *can* be allowed, so long as they are NOT 3D printed models. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and the player must contact Imaginary Wars prior to the event.
*CONVERSIONS & 3D-PRINTED BITZ*
Conversions are welcome, but the core of the model must still be a GW model, and the model should still be representative of the rules being used for it in the game.
3D-printed accessories are acceptable for conversions if the rest of the model follows the ethos that they are being added to a GW model.
