DATE: Monday, September 1, 2025
DOORS: 9:00am
EVENT TIME: 9:30 - 5:30
ARMY SIZE: 1250pts per player (2500pts per team)
PLAYER CAP: 20 Players (10 teams)
GAMES: 2 Rounds (3hrs, 45min per round)
LIST SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Aug 26th
MINIMUM PAINTING REQUIREMENT: Army Warlord
(NOTE: players showing up with an incomplete Warlord will have their Warlord start each battle as having *just* been killed--which could result in their opponents scoring more victory points!)
**ENTRY FEE INCLUDES catered lunch served between the two rounds!
MISSIONS: TBD
But suffice it to say, we'll be running one round as a Fixed Mission and another round using Tactical Missions (ie: secondary objective cards).
**DOUBLES' SPECIAL RULES**
*Team Composition*
No duplicate factions allowed on the same team.
Up to 75 points can be "lent" to your doubles partner to make units fit so long as overall value of the "team force" is 2500 points or less (ie one player can have as much as 1325 provided the partner's force has 1175pts or less).
**TEAMS AND ARMY INTERACTION & AURAS**
Buffs, auras and faction rules from your army only apply to -your-army (ie you cannot repair or enhance your partner's units, even if key words may be met).
Debuff auras only count if you are interacting with that player's army specifically. (ie: you are -1 to hit Death Guard when you shoot at them BUT you are not -1 to shoot at the Orks that are on the same team as your Death Guard opponent)
**Command Points**
Two CP are generated per turn, with each player getting 1 CP; teammates must must keep this CP separate from each other. With Stratagems the limit is one per *team member* per phase and team mates, where applicable (like with Overwatch), cannot use the same Stratagem against the same unit inside the same phase.
*Fully-painted armies get bonus CPs see below)*
GAMEPLAY GUIDELINES
During the game, once the final 30 minutes (or so) have been called, if you know you will not complete a full battle round for both sides, as a courtesy, call the end at the bottom of a turn after both players have completed.
At the end of the agreed end of battle round ending point, victory points are counted at that time based upon the current state of the game and no "talking out theoretical remaining points" will be counted.
**Secondary Objective Cards**
Players draw 2 Secondary Objective cards per side (be it attacker or defender), and both players on the team can work together towards those two Secondary Objectives.
SCHEDULE
9:15am - Doors open, player check in, introduction and Pairings
9:30am - 1:15pm – Round One
1:15pm - 2:00pm – Catered Lunch
1:45pm - 5:15pm – Round Two

**AWARDS**
Because this is an event promoting more casual play, there will be three awards given to individuals for painting:
- Best Painted Army Leader
- Best Painted Unit
- Best Looking (fully painted) Team / the *ONLY* fully-painted team
**PAINTING & MODEL REQUIREMENTS**
Your army leader must be fully painted and completed in order for you to play in this event. There is no other painting requirement, but all models must be on their proper-sized base.
(For those who swear their army's leader is painted and proceed to show up with a leader who is either not completed and/or whose basing is not completed, that leader will start each game as having been killed at the game's start and will not be useable for the remainder of the battle. This will happen for both of the day's battles!)
**PAINTED ARMY COMMAND POINT BONUS**
Fully-painted armies (with completed bases) will be given TWO FREE COMMAND POINTS once army deployment is completed for each of the day's games!
*Models must be Games Workshop models and 3D-printed models will not be allowed.*
*WYSIWYG MODELS*
What You See Is What You Get means all models have their primary weapon appropriately modelled on the miniature.
**PROXIES & 3D PRINTED MODELS**
- Straight-up proxies ("these Firstborn Space Marines are going to be Votann" etc) is NOT allowed.
- 3D Printed models are not allowed.
- More ...inspired proxies *can* be allowed, so long as they are NOT 3D printed models. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and the player must contact Imaginary Wars prior to the event.
**CONVERSIONS & 3D-PRINTED BITZ**
Conversions are welcome, but the core of the model must still be a GW model and the model should still be representative of the rules being used for that model.
3D-printed accessories are acceptable for conversions if the rest of the model follows the ethos that they are being added to a GW model.
*BASE SIZES*
All models must be on their proper base size .
