THE FALL TO KHURSA V

CAMPAIGN FEE: $35 for the campaign OR $10 per day attending
The Heavy Cruiser, the Aeda Tithonus has been ravaged by the warp and now seeks refuge in the Khursa system to refit and secure its secret cargo.
Enemy agents to the Imperium have tracked the Aeda Tithonus to the Khursa system and have attacked the crippled cruiser and boarded her in an attempt to uncover her secrets.
Can they find their prize and make good their escape before the Aeda Tithonus reaches the Khursa V shipyards and (relative) safety?

Crusade campaigns are a NON-COMPETITIVE way to play organised-play games of Warhammer 40,000. These campaigns are designed to forge a narrative for the players: each week, games are played; and the results each week advance an over-arching plot AND players' armies gain experience, wargear and reinforcements!
We're looking for cinematic moments, progress in amount of peoples' armies are getting painted--and cool conversions or paint jobs that reflect what has transpired during the five-week campaign!
This campaign will be a five week Crusade Campaign; the first two weeks will take place as Boarding Action games on the heavy cruiser, Aeda Tithonus.
The fate of the Aeda Tithon will rely on the battles during the first two weeks and will determine whether the heavy cruiser crashes to the surface of Khursa V ...or if the non-Imperial elements on board the Aeda Tithonus flee to Khursa V to make a valiant last stand.
Thus, the three weeks following the boarding-action games will be played as taking place on the Khursa V's surface and played using regular 40k rules (and regular regular Crusade rules).
There will be a one week break between the Boarding Action segment of the campaign, and the planet-side segment of the campaign: May 26 will NOT be a 40k Crusade Campaign day.
The three weeks of planet-side games will also have escalating points values for armies to emulate reinforcements landing on Khursa V:
Week 3 June 2: 700 pts
Week 4 June 9 16: 900 pts
Week 5 June 16: 1100 pts
PLAYER CAP: we can fit about 14-16 players on any given Campaign day (assuming we'll be running 3 - 4 tables for the campaign )
