Have you ever wanted to learn Warhammer 40K? Here's your chance to join a beginner friendly league where we will help you learn the game and introduce you to an awesome community of players/painters. What is Combat Patrol?
Combat Patrol is a stripped-back version of Warhammer 40,000 where you and your friend bring theoretically balanced armies to the tabletop for quick games. These Combat Patrols are one complete box that can be purchased from ourselves at Tapped Out Gaming or from Games Workshop stores (ranging from $140-170) and come with all of the miniatures you need and cover pretty much all of the Xenos, Imperial and Chaos factions from Warhammer 40,000.
Pick one that looks good to you, and we will be able to help you learn how to put it together as well as offer painting advice for your units.
How does the league works?
League entry is free if you purchase your combat patrol through us, otherwise its a one time $20 fee that goes towards prizing and venue. We give everyone in the league access to a google spreadsheet as well as send out emails which give everyone their pairings for the week, you then will have roughly 7 days to contact your opponent and schedule a day to play against them whether it be in store, at someone's house, or another location as long as both parties agree. Rinse and repeat for a few weeks and the players with the best records will win additional prizing.
League practice round starts Monday October 7th, this is merely a day for you to come in and learn the basics. This is by appointment only so please preregister with us right away if you wish to learn Combat Patrol before the league officially starts.
First matches start October 14th, which should give everyone enough time to find out what Combat Patrol they want to buy and order from us plus enough time to build (paint not required)
