I am turning 40, who knew it? To celebrate, I am doing the one thing I think it will be mandatory to do and that’s put on a gig with some of my favourite people and bands from over the years.
It’s 2005 classic admission price, just £5, so no guest lists but plenty of fun. All excess cash will go to the excellent https://www.specialeffect.org.uk/ a charity that allows people to game despite physical disabilities. 🤘
Cash or card payments on the door. 🕹️
The lineup is
The Death Of Money: Big, big beats and riffs from Wales, I’ve known these guys for about 20 years, amazing people and incredible music.
Tiger Warsaw: This might be the 40th time I’ve put Tigz Wigz on. Great mates, even greater tunes.
Concrete Ships: One of the best bands to come out of Lincoln, ever. Devastatingly heavy and loud, but with nuance and style too.
Slake: There’s only ever been one black metal band in Lincoln and they happen to be excellent. Featuring my sonic brother, Mark from Temple Steps.
All at Akedo, Thursday 7th November, 7pm onwards. Party afterwards.
