I have been thinking about doing a charity event for my 40th year on the wonderful, rock filled, world we live on.Some of you may be aware that I lost my mum to cancer. It will be 15 years ago in a few days and I thought it would be nice to raise money for cancer charities.
The plan would be for pairs of climbers to be sponsored to collect 40 stars in a day at any of the Wiltons. Since my birthday is in the winter it may be best to wait until Spring.
To make this more attainable for anyone who may not wish to do separate routes to collect stars, which would be encouraged if you can, then these climbers can repeat routes on the day.*
Would anyone be happy to join in? If I get some replies, I'll start to light preparations so we can decide on a few separate dates in case of poor weather.

* A lead per climber where possible. So you may, for example, collect 20 stars each by repeating some climbs only by leading a route your partner has lead too. If people feel they can do all separate routes then that's brilliant. Please do not feel under any pressure to push yourself too much. Let's do this safely.
