Looking for a fun and free way to start your Saturdays? Join us Saturday mornings Sep 21, Sep 28, Oct 5 and Oct 12 at 8am for a four-week journey of holistic wellness! Start your day right with an invigorating yoga practice that will get your blood flowing and your muscles moving.
During this four-week journey, you'll have the opportunity to adopt or deepen a healthy practice and connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive environment, all for free! Our experienced teachers will guide you through each practice, to ensure that you get the most out of every session.
- The session is structured to first focus on practicing Asanas, which are physical postures that help to stretch and strengthen the body, improve flexibility, and balance.
- Following the Asanas, Sun Salutations are practiced which is a series of postures that help to warm up the body, increase circulation and energy flow.
- After the physical practice, the session moves on to Pranayama which is the practice of controlling the breath. Through this practice, you can learn to manage stress and anxiety, increase focus, and balance your energy.
- Following which will be the Heart Centric meditation that is focused on the heart center. It involves visualization and a technique to help cultivate feelings of love, compassion, and gratitude. This type of meditation has been shown to reduce stress and improve overall emotional wellbeing.
Through these techniques, you can develop a deeper sense of awareness and connection to yourself, which can lead to improved physical, mental, and emotional health.
And best of all, you'll leave each session feeling energized, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the rest of your day, all without spending a dime. Please note:
1 . This event is open to anyone 15 and above
2. At the venue, once you enter volunteers may ask you to check-in and take your shoes off. If you prefer to keep the shoes on for any personal reason just let the volunteers know and they will accommodate
3 . Casual Clothing that lets you be comfortable for the duration of the session is recommended
4 . Kind request to bring your own Yoga mat and water bottle
