Learn your new favorite hobby! 🏺☕️🎨In this series, you will learn how to throw, trim, and glaze your own pottery pieces. Perfect for beginners or those wanting to sharpen their skills.
🟠Class 1, December 7th, 6pm-8:30pm: Students will learn to wedge clay, center on the wheel, and create simple forms.
🟠Class 2, December 14th, 6pm-8:30pm: Students will learn to trim their pieces from the previous week, then continue wheel throwing forms.
🟠Class 3, December 21st, 6pm-8:30pm: Continued throwing and trimming, then, learn to attach handles and add surface decorations.
🔸**NOTE: We will skip one week to allow time for pottery drying and firing**
🟠Class 4, January 4th, 6pm-8:30pm: Learn and apply glazing techniques.
Price includes clay, all tool rentals, glazing, and firing services. Final pieces will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the final class.
Additional Information:
-Minimum age for the class is 13 years. All individuals under age 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Tickets are per person and non-refundable.
-We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes for safety.
-It's essential to tie back or secure long hair, and we recommend having short nails for wheel throwing.
-Students are encouraged to bring their own hand towels to class. Aprons will be provided.
-No makeup sessions will be offered for missed classes.
