Spring is an important time for our Liver and it's supporter, the Gallbladder. In chinese medicine the liver is considered one of the most important organs in the body and it can really affect our health when it gets congested and sluggish. This is very common these days with poor diets, lack of movement and an increase in pollutants in our lives.The liver plays a vital role in many bodily functions, including filtering blood, processing nutrients, and producing essential substances like bile and proteins. It also helps regulate blood sugar, stores vitamins and minerals, and supports the immune system.
When the liver is overloaded you can experience, bloating and poor digestion, weight gain, muscle and joint stiffness, low energy, indecision, excess anger and frustration, Waking between 1 to 3am at night, skin issues and more....
According to Chinese medicine, Spring is the time of year when you can experience an increase in liver issues and is the best time to work on your liver health.
During this 4 week course we will reboot your liver with Yoga for the liver and gallbladder, chinese medicine tips, recipes and dietary advice to follow over the 4 weeks to help your liver to detox.
We will also do a 3 day Liver cleanse in week three, which is optional.
After the 4 weeks you will feel more energy, be calmer, feel more flexible, have more clarity and direction and may experience some weightloss.
