Are you curious about yoga? Have you been wanting to take a class start to learn the basics before jumping in to an ongoing class? Are you looking to reacquaint yourself after an absence?
Please join us for this 4 week beginner series. It will provide you with the FUNdamentals and confidence to attend a group yoga class!
Each session will include:
- FREE MAT RENTAL (if you need one)
- Alignment based asana and sun salutations with options for all
- An exploration of the physiological benefits of yoga
- Provide detailed instruction of basic breathing and pranayama practices and why breathing is important
- Touch on yoga philosophy and the eight limbs of yoga
- Deep relaxation Savasana
- Learn what Om and Namaste mean
- Q & A time
Each week will build upon the previous, so it is recommended, but not mandatory, to participate in all classes.
Please bring with you:
- An open mind, sense of humor and a willingness to learn.
