About this Event
This 4-day series is designed to provide training to those interested in working as a teacher's aide in a special education setting, working with amazing students, and as a part of a highly effective team. This is a 4-Day In-Person Bootcamp, each day of the training will start at 8:30 AM and end at 11:30 AM. Plan to attend June 17, 18, and 20,21st
The training will cover the following topics:
- Program Overview: Understand the role of the Paraeducator and how to be part of an effective classroom team.
- Student Support: Learn to support students with diverse learning needs
- Positive Behavioral Supports: Develop an understanding of how positive behavioral supports improve access to learning.
- Communication Skills: Learn typical milestones for language development and strategies to support communication and self-advocacy.
Special Education Paraeducator Bootcamp will be in-person at Marin County Office of Education: 1111 Las Gallinas Ave, San Rafael, CA 94903.
