Howdy Neighbors,We would like to invite you all to the first all-ages neighborhood bike ride of 2025!!!
Save the date and come ride with us!
On Sunday, April 27, at 10:00 am, bring your trusty bicycle and meet us at North Four Cornners park for a leisurely paced ride in the neighborhood. Rollout is at 10:30, and we will ride towards Sligo Creek Parkway and back for an approximate 4-mile ride.
There will be complementary coffee and donuts under the red tent at 10:00, and music on wheels along the ride.
I hope to see our young cyclists and all the young-at-heart as well. Bear in mind that the pace of the ride is well under 10 mph and close to an enjoyable 5-6 mph speed.
Don’t forget to RSVP with the name and age of participants to 703-400-9560, and if you would like to request a song—any song—send the name my way, and I will try to add your song to the ride’s playlist (703-400-9560).

THE ROUTE:
Gather at North Four Corners Park, meet at the large open lawn area located near the big playground at 10 am.
Start at 10:30 am with a “warm-up” full loop on the path that surrounds the meeting place… And off we go!!!
Right on Royalton,
Left on Dennis,
Cross University Boulevard,
Right on Gilmour,
Left on Dryden,
Right on Sligo Creek Parkway,
U-turn before University,
Back down Sligo Creek Parkway,
Stop at Sligo-Dennis Local Park to regroup, drink water, and use the porta-potty (5-10 minutes).
Left on Dryden,
Right on Procter,
Left on Dennis,
Right on Royalton,
Left into the path leading back to the meeting place.
After the ride, stay and hang with us at the park and playground! There are many restaurants within 0.4 miles from the park.
