Background. After walking from forests over 200,000 years ago, modern homo sapiens largely have neglected toe movement and utility due to shoes, weather, society, and other variables with unknown health effects and data gaps. Since invention in 3500-1600 bce, shoes hyper accumulated 8,000 nerve endings in each foot, one of most sensitive body parts, with neural incoherence.

Theories. If daily toe exercises such as slightly contracting toes with each foot step yields 10-100X+ more toe range of movement, we converge to a true 4-limbed species much faster. By subconsciously envisioning typing while walking with subtle toe movements, we can feel the toes grasp onto Earth with each footstep. Averaging 10k steps per day or 3.65M+ steps of passive thoughts per year, it is theorised humans and other organisms can increase neural mind map and activity associated with toes by 200-500%+ within 6-12 months.
