4-H Passport to the Outdoors is back to offer a wide variety of events for kids ages 5 to 18 to encourage them to put down the screens and head outdoors for some fun in the sun and exploration of nature, gardening, and fishing.Meet 4-H staff at Sand Creek Conservation Area and explore a stream and learn how to identify trees and plants along the trail.. Ages 5 to 7 must be accompanied by a guardian for this event.
Please remember to wear comfortable shoes, bring a bottle of water, insect repellent and sunscreen.
Kids will receive a passport the first time that they participate in one of the summer events. For each additional event that they participate in, they will receive a stamp in their passport. Membership in 4-H is not required to participate.
There is no charge to participate for the majority of the events: the exception is Fishing Day on July 20.
