4-H Lower Shore Winterfare 2026

Winterfare is a fun filled full day event, that lets your children experience hands-on activities and produce some fair ready items. This year youth will take part in a total of four classes throughout the day, two during the morning and two in the afternoon.

Classes include:

• Fun with Fiber Art – Explore the art of working with fibers, including wool felting. Participants will go home with a fair-quality project.
• Science in a Jar – Discover the excitement of science in a jar while learning and conducting cool, hands-on experiments.
• Bundle Up & Beachcomb – While beachcombing is often thought of as a summer activity, winter is actually the best time to find shells. Learn how to identify native shells and start your very own shell collection. Participants will take home a fair-quality project.
• Scrapbooking – Learn creative techniques that turn scrapbooking into a keepsake to be treasured for generations.

Participation is limited, and registration fills up quickly. Cost is $20 per person. Open to youth ages 8-18.
