Bring a soil sample in to be tested for your potential garden site. Test results explained and soil amendment plan will be established for each family's garden plot. This cost is included in the registration fee.
September 7, 2024
Garden Planning will be finalized. Set seeds into starter trays and start seeds for planting in October and November. Cost of seeds is included in the registration fee.
October 5, 2024
Planting at home plot will begin. Understanding W**d and pest identification, and controlling W**d pressure and pest control will be covered.
November 2, 2024
Continued growth and fertilizing if needed for personal garden plot. replanting any harvested crops and understanding how and when to harvest each crop.
December 7,2024
Harvesting, recipe ideas, and storing and cooking some of your specific crops.
January 4,2025
Cover crop options and beginning to plan the spring garden.
