About this Event
We will be learning about pottery techniques with oven-bake clay! Participants will make two projects with options from earrings or a paintbrush holder (one of each or two of the same project). We will send everyone home with paint kits to paint their clay works of art. Youth will learn about Cherokee culture through storytelling from a local EBCI member.
This program is for youth aged 9 and above. We will provide snacks, but eat dinner before arriving!
Participants will need to fill out 4-H registration forms online prior to attending the program. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, N.C. Cooperative Extension will honor requests for reasonable accommodations made by individuals with disabilities. Please direct accommodation requests to: Sally Dixon ([email protected] or 828-456-3575). Requests can be served more effectively if notice is provided at least 10 days before the event.
