Be empowered with esssential skills and knowledge for holistic doula care with this 4-Day In-Person Full Spectrum Doula Training. Learn and grow with the support and guidance of maternal health advocate and instructor Ana Rodney. DTI T training empowers participants with essential skills and knowledge for holistic doula care that includes essential care for Birth, Postpartum, Loss, Fertility & Abortion, Newborn Care & Feeding . Earn your DTI Doula Certification to practice in MD, DC & VA. This intensive training offers a comprehensive curriculum paired with hands-on experience offers small group learning in a retreat-style setting. Grow confident offering informed care and supporting safe and joyful birthing.

When: Four-day session (Nov. 15, 2-8 pm and Nov 16, 22 & 23, 10 am-4 pm).

DTI full-spectrum doula trainings prepare reproductive health companions and birth workers for the systems they'll be navigating. Examining issues of reproductive justice in all that we do, our learning environments stay open to the diverse experiences of participants, so that we can learn from each other and grow stronger together.
After training, doulas are all too often left underprepared for the environments they'll be working in, with no idea how to build resilience for the unexpected. Inconsistent doula education may not include issues of birth equity, access, and healthcare disparities. If it's covered, doulas are left unsure of how to respond to these challenges in the real world.

We teach all DTI doulas how to practice our Slow Doula Method,® which has the power to support not only ourselves but also our clients.

Ana Rodney,
A practicing Doula for nearly 18 years, a yoga instructor, energy healer, and wellness practitioner based in Baltimore City, Ana is currently the Director of Advocacy and Public Policy for Doula Alliance of Maryland. The Founder of MOMCares and the Rising Mama, a wellness organization that centers mothers in the delivery of care and support to the entire family unit. Ana serves as a Baltimore City Women’s Commission commissioner and supports the Legislative Policy agenda for the commission. Ana is the Chair of the Baltimore City Maternal Mortality Review Board as well as a member of the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Board, and has served as a Perinatal Mental Health Consultant for the Baltimore City Health Department. Ana has been acknowledged by the Public Justice Center for her contributions and collaborations in Policy in Maternal Health. She is the recipient of the NARAL MD Prochoice Young Advocate award, NOBEL Shining Star award in Health, OSI Community Fellowship, Warnock Foundation Award, and other awards for her service to the families of Baltimore City. She was named a Baltimore Homecoming Hero in 2019 and a Game Changer by Baltimore Magazine in 2021. She has a background in education, teaching in Baltimore City as an artist, Spanish and English co-teacher between 2006-2014. Finally and most importantly, Ana is mother to Aiden and Asher Rodney, ages 10 and 4, respectively.

This 4-Day Retreat-style training will take place at Camille Intuitive Wellness, a mother-centered wellness center at 3000 Chestnut Ave, Ste 15, Baltimore, MD 21211.
