Join us for the 3rd United States Colored Cavalry (USCC) Living History Event at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, in front of the War Memorial Building in downtown Jackson at the Old Capitol Museum Green, 100 State Street. This free event will depict a small camp of Civil War soldiers of the 3rd USCC. Guests will get to interact with the soldiers, see their horses, and learn about the history of Black Mississippians in the Union army.
