PDAP will be holding our third Tampa Bay Chalk Festival on the historic Deuces on 22nd St South between 7th Ave S and 9th Ave S in St. Petersburg, on Saturday, May 3 from 10 am to 4 pm. Over 25 community artists will create beautiful sidewalk art with the theme “OUR WATERY FUTURES! ”The theme was chosen to bring attention to the impacts of climate change, development, outdated infrastructure, and conservation needs on Tampa Bay’s future.
The entire day is free and open to the public, and includes a panel from 12 pm - 1 pm with environmental experts on the topic of environmental resiliency in Tampa Bay.
PDAP’s mission is to support the arts in underrepresented communities of Tampa Bay through creative programming, family events, and civic education.
