We had such fun on Worldwide Spin in Public Day, that we decided to make it a monthly thing (for as long as the weather allows, at least).Welcome to 3rd Saturday Spin Club (name in review)!
Robin will be back at Dragon Bite Books & Crafts on Saturday, October 18. She'll be on the porch spinning prepared wool into yarn, armed with nothing but a drop spindle and knowledge. Robin's a great teacher and knows a lot about the art and history of spinning. Come join her - and me if I can get outside! Bring your own spindle and roving or we'll have kits available for sale inside for anyone who would like to start a new hobby ($20 each, includes a handmade drop spindle with a Sculpey clay whorl and 2 oz of pre-prepared, undyed, Finnsheep wool) - and Robin will gladly help you get started!
There's no fee to attend and no fee to watch the spinners working their magic.
