A free pre-conference webinar series is being organised starting from 26 August 2025, covering key topics in near-surface geophysics and its applications in areas such as dam safety, environmental management, and infrastructure development. These webinars aim to provide valuable insights and foster engagement ahead of the main conference.
Two pre-conference workshops are also being organised as part of INSGC 2025. The first workshop on Advances in Geophysical Investigations for Dam Safety, scheduled for 12 November, will focus on the application of geophysical methods for assessing dam foundations, seepage pathways, and structural stability.
The second workshop on Geophysical Applications in Investigating and Remediating Contaminated Sites, to be held on 12 November, will address the role of non-invasive techniques in identifying, characterising, and monitoring subsurface contamination.
