CHECK BACK HERE OR SPRINGFIELDUNIONSTATION.COM FOR THE LINK.On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Springfield Redevelopment Authority, CTrail Hartford Line and Amherst Railway Society will celebrate Halloween with their 3rd annual Track-or-Treat event at Springfield’s Union Station.
The Track-or-Treat train will depart Springfield for Hartford around 9:55 am SHARP, with special guest, “Maggie the Railroad Clown” and a coven of dancing witches! Once in Hartford, the little ghosts and goblins will change trains for the ride back to Springfield.
When the Track-or-Treaters disembark at Union Station around 11:38 am, they will be greeted by a mini treat trail courtesy of Union Station tenants and partners, including Appleton Corporation, Dietz & Company Architects, Hertz, and supporters like the Springfield Police Department.
Can't make it on the 25th? We're doing the whole thing BACKWARDS on Sunday, October 26th. The train will depart from Hartford, stop briefly in Springfield, and then return to Hartford Station for a treat trail!
