Please join us for the 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Harvest of Hope hosted by Hands of Hope - a community of business owners and professionals coming together to serve warm meals to the homeless community in our beautiful city. In addition to serving a warm Thanksgiving meal, we intend to provide essential necessities to those in need to help keep them safe and warm this holiday season and need your help in order to collect the following items:
• blankets
• women and men’s clothes (emphasis on men’s wear)
• socks
• scarves, mittens, jackets
• hygiene items for hygiene kits such as toothbrushes/toothpaste, bar soap/body wash, deodorant, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, tissue, etc. (preferably in travel sizes)
• backpacks/drawstring bags
• snacks (chips, protein bars, trail mix, etc.)
We will be providing details for drop off locations or arrange for pickups as well.
Volunteers are also needed and welcome to help organize, serve meals, distribute clothing, and essential necessity items to our guests. If you are unable to participate in person, we will appreciate any donations you can contribute to this cause. We will also be accepting monetary support and you may send funds via: _____________
Together, let's make this Thanksgiving a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
We also know that times can be rough for everyone around the holidays, so we will also be gifting 10 families in need a turkey for Thanksgiving! Details to follow on this events page.
