The 3rd Annual Spring Garden & Pet Show presented by River Road Historical Society in collaboration with LSU AgCenter and Louisiana Master Gardeners will be hosted March 29 & 30, 2025. The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at 13034 River Road, Destrehan, Louisiana. The admission is $5 and free for children under 5. The show will feature:
-Plants and products for the porch, patio, garden, and lawn for sale
-Pets for adoption and pet supplies for purchase
-Educational seminars and exhibits on topics such as pet first aid, carnivorous plants, hummingbirds, and live oaks
-A LSU AgCenter butterfly tent
-Bee Guyz LLC Beekeepers demonstration
-Cheramie Farm LLC petting zoo (Saturday only)
-Children's arts and crafts activities
-Pictures with Mr. Bunny (Sunday, 1-3 p.m.)
-An Easter egg hunt (Sunday @ 3 p.m.)
-A country store
-Live music
-Food and beverages, including Spring specialty cocktails
-Yard games
