Grab your paddles and rally for a cure for IBD!We are thrilled to invite you to the 3rd Annual Golden Gate Pickleball Scramble, hosted by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and our Northern California Chapter Board member, Elyse Salven-Blatt. This exciting event will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Bay Club Gateway in San Francisco.
Grab your paddles and join us for an afternoon of pickleball, all while supporting our mission to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of the millions of affected Americans. Your participation will help fund crucial research to uncover the causes, develop new treatments, and ultimately find a cure for these chronic diseases.

Location: Pickleball courts at the Bay Club Gateway (370 Drumm Street) in San Francisco
Format: A pickleball scramble format is where players are mixed and matched with different partners and opponents for each round of play. Instead of staying with the same partner throughout the event, you will rotate, allowing everyone to interact and compete with a variety of players within their skill level.
Each game is 10 minutes and players accumulate individual points based on their total points scored in each match. At the end of the tournament, scores are tallied to determine overall winners. There will be a final playoff round of the top players. This format encourages fun, camaraderie, and variety.
