3rd Annual Peace in the Park

The Mediation Center of the Coastal Empire will host the 3rd Annual Peace in the Park event on September 22, 2024 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Daffin Park! This free, family-friendly event serves as the culmination of The Mediation Center's 100 Days of Intentional Peacebuilding Campaign, which is designed to raise awareness of the importance of peace in the Savannah community and to celebrate local peacebuilding efforts.

Presented in honor of the International Day of Peace, the Peace in the Park event will offer opportunities for community members to support peace, counter violence, become conflict resilient and celebrate unity. Event highlights include live music, food trucks, a Peace Walk, Courageous Conversation Circles for deeper discussions about peacebuilding, a wellness area focused on mental health and a Youth Artists Corner.
In addition, The Mediation Center will present the 2024 Peacebuilder Awards, which honor and recognize Savannah-area youth, community members, elected officials, faith leaders and others who foster peace.

The 3rd Annual Peace in the Park event is FREE and open to the public. Tickets and pre-registration are not required.
