Hello! We are the Hendrix family. We are partnering with American Red Cross to host a blood drive in Owasso, Oklahoma! In May 2023 we had HUGE success at our blood drive and raised 26 units of blood! In April of 2024 we donated 12 units of blood. Help us reach our goal of 25 units in 2025 🙌🏻This event will be held at The Willow Salon & Boutique in Owasso on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 1:00pm-6:00pm.
After personally suffering from massive blood loss during child birth we now know the dire need for donated blood for our health care and hospitals. My body went through a postpartum hemorrhage, multiple surgeries, internal bleeding, (DIC) disseminated intravascular coagulation, cardiac arrest, and multiple organ failure. In one day our lives completely changed. In one day I needed 7 liters of life saving blood.
Our local hospitals are very low on blood and platelet donations. American Red Cross is in dire need for all blood types. Giving blood can save many lives just like it saved mine. Thank you for your consideration to donate blood at our drive. This means so much to our family.
