Taxidermy: Taught by guest Taxidermist from New York, Katie Innamorato of Afterlife Anatomy, these classes will introduce students to the process & techniques behind basic small mammal taxidermy. Must be 14+ (Minors must be accompanied by adult to sign consent form). NO guests allowed-seating is limited. 2-3 hours
11:15 Rat Shoulder Mount Taxidermy Class: Students will learn how to skin, prep, preserve, mount, and position the animal. Basic armatures will be used and students will learn how to carve bust forms. Everything is supplied and students do not need any prior experience for this class. Each student will leave with their own finished piece.
2:45 Jackalope Shoulder Mount Class: Each student is provided with their own specimen which has been prepped and tanned. They will have to final prep, mount, pin, and groom. We will go through the process of preparing our forms, building up with clay, and final assembly. Everything is supplied and students do not need any prior experience for this class. Each student will leave with their own finished piece.
Pinning: Returning expert entemology-artist-extraordinaire, Kristin of Silver Moon Curiosities will be teaching these fun and uniquely Menagerie pinning workshops. These classes are appropriate for all skill levels and teach the basics of pinning. Must be 12+ (Minors must be accompanied by adult to sign consent form). NO guests allowed-seating is limited. 1 hour
1:00 Luna Moth: The workshop includes an 8" frame, pinning kit, and digital class to continue creating works of art from home!
3:00 Ulysses Swallowtail Butterfly: The workshop includes 8" frame, pinning kit, digital class to continue creating works of art from home!

SOLICITING: ABSOLUTELY no soliciting of ANY kind: Religious, Political, or Event Scouting. Take a business card.
NO outside food, drink or promotional materials.
PARKING - Street parking; Save the lot for ADA.
Artists take cash, credit, debit, and Venmo, some take Apple Pay and PayPal.
WORKSHOPS - Students must be 12+ or 14+; Anyone under the age of 18 must have an adult present to sign a consent form at the time of class. NO guests are allowed inside the workshop-seating is limited to students only. Please come to the front of the ticket line upon arrival! Check in for Class 10 minutes early. Please be on time. DOES NOT INCLUDE ADMISSION TO THE EVENT. Classes are taught independently by artists and vendors.
