Welcome to the 3rd Annual U.S. Oval Champs (USOC) at the PRW Special Events Center, throwing it back to the days at Horsham Raceway. This year's event is March 6-9 and it marks the PRW Special Events Center's 2024-25 SEASON FINALE, we thank you all for another wonderful year. The USOC falls on the perfect date for racers to shake down and tune up their cars before the TOUR Midwest Nationals in Michigan and the Nationals in Virginia. For those of you that are new, you might be wondering, what's all the hype about the PRW Special Events Center? We are THE premier radio-controlled carpet oval racetrack in the Northeast, boasting a temporary rollout track that is as identical to the Snowbird Nationals as possible. Features include: exact runline dimensions, a massive 32-foot drivers stand, CRC Fasttrak 2.0 carpet/Clik-Trak barriers, precison-cut and epoxy-coated ice, LiveTime scoring, LiveRC results/video streaming, and much more. We host multiple weekend-long events per indoor season at the gorgeous Accelerate Sports facility, where racers get to experience the true "national event" atmosphere right here in Whitesboro, NY. Attendees of PRW events get to take real notes and collect setup data for future events, and go up against the best competition that carpet oval racing has to offer. If you want to see where you stack up, you come to PRW. GENERAL EVENT SCHEDULE*
*subject to change based on time constraints
Thursday 3/6: Pit setup and open timed (non-controlled) practice all day, from 8:00am to 10:30pm, building closes at 11. Clock will be turned on when the line starts to become busy (one session, leave stand, hop back in line if you wish). Great time to drop in, set up your pit, run a few laps and unwind from your travels. PLEASE DO NOT GO ON THE TRACK UNTIL you have signed up and paid or confirmed pre-entries.
Friday 3/7: Practice all day from 8:00am to 10:30pm, building closes at 11. Practice will consist of timed sessions, drivers will group together based on same or like-speed vehicles. Exclusive sessions for specific classes may be held, we will announce with plenty of notice if so. PLEASE DO NOT GO ON THE TRACK UNTIL you have signed up, paid/confirmed pre-entries, and have a wristband on. To be clear: NO qualifying on Friday, all qualifying will run on Saturday.
Saturday 3/8: Doors open at 7:00am with short timed practice sessions until 8:30. Round 1 heat sheet and time table to be posted by 8. At 8:30, the track will close for our drivers meeting and singing of the American and Canadian National Anthems, by our very own Christina Pemberton. Race 1 of round 1 is RUNNING at 9:00 sharp. All 3 rounds of qualifying will be run on Saturday; practice between rounds will be decided by number of heats and program pace. HARD STOP at 11:00pm, whether that be the end of qualifying or practice afterwards if we finish before then.
Sunday 3/9: PLEASE REMEMBER, CLOCKS SPRING FORWARD @ 2AM! Doors open at 7:00am, final practice until 8:45, and the first B-Main will start at 9:00am sharp. B-Main winners receive their award and picture ASAP after the race ends. Short intermission after B-Mains for main prep and 50/50 raffle ticket drawing (will be noted on time table), then remainder of mains will begin. As with the B's, award presentation and podium photos will occur after each main has completed. We always aim to finish in the early afternoon to allow ample travel time home, as well as tear down the venue. On Sunday we would greatly appreciate your help with stacking tables/chairs against the tech/drivers stand wall, many hands make light work, thank you!
PITS/REGISTRATION
Pit spot reservation and class pre-entry for the event is located at pembertonraceworks.com. Pit spots and pre-entries open WEDNESDAY 2/19/2025 at 8:00pm eastern time. There is NOT an entry cap, however, DO NOT WAIT to reserve pit spots. They go very quickly and almost always sell out! You are welcome to bring your own table/chair if all spots are sold, there is plenty of space available outside the main pit grid.
ENTRY FEES
- First Class: $60
- Additional Classes: $40/ea
- KIDS (14/Under) Rate: $30, Unlimited Classes; common entry-level classes for kids are Breakout, Sportsman RTT, Mudboss, Mini
- Pit Spots: $10/ea (1 spot = 4ft table space, 1 chair)

ON-SITE HOBBY STORE
Our on-site hobby store has been revamped and features more products than ever before to keep you covered here at the track. We will be fully stocked with PRW car kits/parts, tires, traction compound, bodies, electronics, batteries, accessories, and much more. Food, snacks, drinks, and fresh-baked goods will be for sale all weekend as well courtesy of the Winnicki Snack Shack. Come hungry, consider eating in-house to help support our events!

Track/pit area located at the back end of the building in basketball court area (behind netted soccer field). Straight back if you walk in through the front entrance, or around the back-left corner of the building if you wish to park outside the pit area. PLEASE leave the main lane open for emergency vehicles and Accelerate staff if you park on the side. There is a very large, paved parking lot out front of the building that we recommend using
