What is Iftar?
Iftar is the evening meal that marks the end of a day of fasting during Ramadan, the holiest month in Islam. Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, refraining from food and drink as a form of spiritual devotion, self-discipline, and gratitude. The fast is traditionally broken with dates and water, followed by a nourishing meal shared with family, friends, and the community.
