Back by popular demand, SGP's flagship fundraising event returns! Flannel Ball 2024 is a fun casual dinner and live auction with the proceeds benefitting school garden education in Lane County! Join us for the third annual Flannel Ball on Thursday, May 9th, 6:30pm to 9pm at the Downtown Athletic Club. Come in your comfiest casual wear (flannel encouraged!) to celebrate school garden education.Highlights include a dessert dash, gift card pull, wine wall, live and silent auction, heads & tails with a $500 gift card prize from Johnson Brothers Garden Market and more! We are delighted to partner with Branch Road Farm Catering & Kitchen Collective this year to bring you a delicious buffet farm-to-fork dinner featuring local, organic produce. The main dish will be a choice of braised beef with herb, garlic and wine sauce or baked sweet potato boats with chickpeas and arugula, caramelized onions, tahini butter sauce and crispy chili oil. They will be accompanied by a garden farm salad and roasted spring vegetables, with wine provided by Bennet Vineyards.
