The ELA Curriculum Team of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, in collaboration with the Division of Schools, is preparing for the 3rd annual EBRPSS High School District-wide Poetry Competition. This event aims to celebrate the talented high school student poets, writers, and performers in our district. The Poetry Competition is open to all EBRPSS high school students, and it follows the individual school-wide Poetry Slam competitions held at local schools. The winners from each school will compete in our district-wide event, with an expected turnout of approximately 25-30 student performers. The competition is scheduled for Thursday, March 28, at the Capitol Park Museum in downtown Baton Rouge. The event will commence at 6:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM.
