Welcome to the 3rd Annual Dumpling Eating Contest!!!!!

Join us at Yagi Noodles with Newport Winterfest for a fun food eating competition!

Test your eating skills and see if you have what it takes to be crowned the Dumpling Eating Champion. The event will be held at 20 Long Wharf Mall in Newport at 12pm.

Don't miss out - we had TWO contestants out of 25 last year make it in the under 2 minutes... CAN YOU?!!

Official Dumpling Eating Contest Rules

Eating competitions are inherently dangerous activities, and all participants expressly and voluntarily assume the risk of any and all injury and damage that may result from the participation in eating competitions. Participants will be required to execute a Waiver of Liability and Release form. Must be 18 years or older to participate.

Entry Fee: $20 to participate

The Contest

Each competitor will get two minutes to eat as many dumplings as they can, the dumplings will come to the competitor boiled and on plates of 10 at a time. You can dunk, chew, swallow, cat in soy sauce, or use a fork and knife.. however you think you can get the job done in TWO MINUTES!

In the event of a tie between competitors, there will be a 30 second “run off” to determine the winner.

Participants will be disqualified if vomiting takes place during the two minutes of competing.

Prizes

1st Place: Get a picture with the ultimate dumpling eating belt! Hand crafted just for you to show off! Plus a Yagi swag bag - Jar of chili oil, $50 gift card, and hoodie!

2nd Place: T-shirt, jar of chili oil, and your next bowl of ramen on us!

3rd Place: T-shirt and a free order of dumplings on your next visit!
