Our chapter is hosting this FREE workshop to assist women 18 years of age or older who are interested in joining the DAR.
Topics to be covered are DAR membership qualifications what it takes to establish lineage research strategies how to fill in and submit an application for membership.
If you are able to attend please bring any documentation that you have collected so far; birth marriage and death certificates for you your parents and grandparents. If you haven’t started to collect any family documentation yet please come and learn about the steps needed to document your lineage (your direct bloodline descent from your ancestors.)
Members of the Chapter will be present to help answer any question you may have assist you with some of your research and help with the application process.
