3rd Annual African Rising Mushroom Festival

The African Rising Mushroom Festival is back! 🍄 A 3-day celebration of fungi, food security, and community resilience , live from Uganda and open to the world.

Hosted at Josephine Nakakande’s EcoAgric Uganda Mushroom Training Center, this gathering brings together farmers, students and global fungi lovers for workshops, talks and hands-on education.

Last year, we welcomed 1,000+ students and 100+ farmers , this year, we’re growing even bigger with international speakers, expanded programming, and more opportunities to learn, connect, and be inspired.

Expect Talks & Panels with local leaders and international educators. Hear from speakers including Dennis Walker (Mycopreneur Podcast) who will be joining us in person in Uganda, William Padilla Brown and Darren Le Baren. Explore how mushrooms can spark food security, sustainability, and economic opportunity.
