Dr. Brenda Brown and Bridging Boundaries will host the 3rd Annual Community Heart Walk and CPR/AED Demonstrations in recognition of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month. This event is FREE to the public. The event will start in front of Powers Catholic High School with PraiseRciZe warm-ups (facilitated by Rhonda Willingham, PT) at 8:30 AM, Walk starts at 9:00 AM, and finish at the Ferris Wheel in Downtown Flint. At 10:00 AM, walkers can observe CPR and AED demonstrations at the Flint Social Club [next door to Ferris Wheel]. At 10:30 AM is our BLS/CPR/AED training and certification class facilitated by Britany Thomas, CCA, to selected students. 📌While registration is encouraged, it is not required. 📌Participants will receive a complimentary Taste Ticket to the "Bring the Smoke" BBQ Bonanza Competition scheduled the same day from 12 noon to 6 pm at Brush Alley, Downtown Flint.
