Information for members about volunteering. Please message this FB group if you want to volunteer but can't make it to the April Tuber Auction Club Meeting to sign up in person. You can stay as long or as little as you like.
The three public sales have tubers from our two gardens
(over 1700 tubers this year) and donated member tubers. The tuber varieties are split as equal as they can be three ways so no sale is better than the other. Generally members sign up to volunteer at the sales at the March/April meetings or you can message the FB group.
The day of the sale volunteering members get there 45min-1 hour early to help set up. Then we help people purchase and look at the tubers. Just bring yourself to volunteer-and a smartphone to find pictures of the tubers is helpful. You don't have to know much, or anything really, about dahlias to volunteer At the sales, we all help each other. 🙂

*Donating tubers: If you have tubers you'd like to donate to any of the sales we'd gladly take them. Bring them each in their own plastic baggie to the April tuber auction/meeting. The plastic bags get marked with their name, classification, etc. via a printable tag. We will have extra tags at the April Auction/Meeting.
