The Woodlands Township invites residents to bring select items for a FREE, one-day special collection at the 𝟯𝗥 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝘁𝗵𝗿𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 & 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟵 𝗮.𝗺. 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻. This free event is an opportunity to recycle items that cannot be recycled in curbside carts.
Help by following these guidelines: Bag or box like items together and place in your trunk or back seat. Volunteers will provide a full-service drive-thru, so please stay in your vehicle. A donation of five cans of food or $5 will benefit Interfaith of The Woodlands Food Pantry. No business items will be accepted.
𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀:
•Batteries - Alkaline AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V only
•Bicycles in any condition
•Block Styrofoam - No food containers or cups
•Disposable Razors and packaging.
•Eyeglasses, sunglasses and cases.
•Lightbulbs – Incandescent, Compact Fluorescent (CFL) and LED only. Must be intact, not broken. No tube lights over 4 feet.
•Oral Care Products - Toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes and floss containers.
•Plastic Bags & Film – Any plastic film that is clean, dry and stretches.
•Small Electronics – One file box or paper shopping bag per vehicle. Laptops, tablets, cell phones and cords only. No TVs or monitors. Proof of Woodlands address (Driver’s License or utility bill required).
•Snack & Drink Pouches - Any brand that comes with a straw or lid.
•Textiles - Used clothing, shoes, linens, fabric scrap in any condition.
The 3R Recycling Drive-thru is hosted by The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department in partnership with Waste Management, The Lions Club, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Green City Recycler, Bike The Woodlands, Recycled Cycles of Texas, and Girl Scout Troop 108094.

Recent scams include, but are not limited to, vendor opportunities from people pretending to be associated with the Township, live stream and other harmful links and people selling fake event tickets.
Always ensure that the event is “HOSTED BY” an official Township page before engaging with the event listing. These include The Woodlands Township, The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation, Texas TreeVentures, or Riva Row Boat House.
If you believe an event posting to be a duplicate/fake Township event, please report it by notifying the Township and also reporting it directly to Facebook.
