Get hands-on with technology, science, and engineering in this immersive 3D Camp experience. Participants will explore how 3D printers work and use beginner-friendly computer-aided design (CAD) software to create custom objects and functional prototypes.Over the course of the week, campers work in small teams to design, build, and test a 3D-printed water filtration system. Students experiment with different filtration materials, collect real data on water clarity and flow rate, and use their results to improve their designs through iteration - just like real engineers!
In addition to technical skills, campers develop critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills as they analyze results and present their final designs. This camp emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and learning through trial and improvement.
