About this Event
In this beginner-friendly class at Saskatoon Makerspace, students will learn the basics of 3D printing. The class will cover topics such as types of 3D printers, filament types, and basic printing settings. Students will learn how to import their designs to the slicer software, generate tool paths, and operate the 3D printer. Through hands-on practice and guided instruction, students will learn the ins and outs of the Makerbot Replicator and Thingiverse. This class is suitable for beginners with little to no experience in 3D printing or digital design. By the end of the class, students will have a foundational understanding of 3D printing and digital design and will be able to continue exploring this exciting field.
