Childcare reservations
3D MAW will hire five childcare providers (maximum allowed children is 42) through MCCS. Marines wishing to utilize this childcare are responsible for childcare payments. Cost per child is TBD depending on the total number of children registered for care. Please select the number of children along with your during checkout to identify names, ages, and any medical information.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Not to attend the ceremony. You must be of legal age to purchase alcohol and have a valid photo ID.
Can my children attend the ceremony?
The Marine Corps Ball is intended as an adult event and all guests, regardless of age, are expected to dress in evening formal wear and able to conduct themselves maturely throughout the event. All guests are the responsibility of the active duty service member and are expected to uphold the prestige honor of celebrating the 244th Marine Corps Birthday.
What type of food will be served?
Salad: Dried Cranberries, Gorgonzola, Caramelized Pecans with both Sherry Vinaigrette & Ranch Dressing.
Bakery Basket: Variety of breads, Breadsticks, and Rolls with Sweet Butter.
Duo Entree: Seared Free Range Chicken Breast with Artichokes, Shiitake Mushrooms, Sundried Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, and a Basil Crème Sauce.

How many guests am I allowed to bring? What is their cost?
You may bring as many guests as you would like. All your guests will be the same ticket price as you (e.g. Sgt Slaughter and his wife's tickets are each $65). Civilians will be formal evening attire (black tie).
Where can I park?
Event parking rates (subject to change):
-Self-parking at convention center -> $10/car ($30/car overnight).
-Valet parking on Marriott property -> $14/car upon availability ($45/car overnight).
How much are photos?
What is the refund policy?
Contact your section's ball representative and refunds can be processed.
Can I pick where I sit?
Tables will be assigned per work section, but individual seats may be decided at the assigned table.
Will there be a cash bar?
Yes. The hotel will have multiple bars open located immediately outside the ballroom entrance for cocktail hour and following the ceremony.

You will receive a Moscow Mule Mug.
