
About this Event
In this introductory course, you will learn the fundamentals of the Solid and Surface sections of Fusion 360. After each section you will create a design and discuss the methodology for better design using the Fusion 360. Our goal is to familiarize you with the basic features, tools and workflow of the software so you'll have a solid foundation to work from to create your own designs.

- Workflow features: History and Timeline
- Designing solids (Create, Modify, Assemble, Inspect, Insert, Select)
- Hands-on Exercise: designing a box
- Enhancements to surfaces: embossing and carving
- Hands-on Exercise: personalizing your box design
Instructor
Nikos Lygizos has had an extensive career in computing and engineering. He uses Fusion 360 for all of his current designs. He has previously taught AutoCAD. You can check out his designs at:

Laptops will the software pre-loaded will be provided.
Class size: 2 to 6 students. If minimum attendence is not met, class may be canceled and refunds issued.
