FINDING THE GAP, GRASPING THE OPPORTUNITY
Have you ever heard ? It's a brilliant programme on BBC Radio 4 that highlights innovators, entrepreneurs and 'rule breakers' who have spotted gaps to create businesses, start charities, and break into new markets.
What 3 Words, Bloom and Wild, Wayne Hemingway's charity shop and, the latest one, D Louise, a tarnish proof jewellery brand (yes, really!) are all organisations that have featured.
So we thought... do we have any 'Gap Finders' here in Sheffield? And the good news is that it's a resounding YES!
We're delighted to introduce some of them to you at October's 3D Connect:
We've got...
James O'Hara who is a 'serial gap finder' who has made a real impact here in Sheffield through the ages - his ages! They include , and to name just a few - we know you'll love hearing about his gap finding journey!
Sarah Seaman who created her award winning in 2018 when she was a teacher in schools and spotted a gap to do things differently. It's not a forest school, it's a new way of outdoor learning and Sarah is trailblazing with her work and is also a , podcaster, and presenter.
Stevan Parkin has just set up his with a vision to create a world where young people thrive in a safe environment, expowered by skills and knowledge to lead with confidence, reticence, and purpose... and the place to do this through gaming. Using his own lived experience of gaming addiction and social isolation, he's determined to make a positive change in this.
And there may be others... we still have a gap to fill!
It's a great chance to get insights into how these 'Gap Finders' have done it and transfer the lessons into your business (and life!)

WHERE IS IT HAPPENING?
As mentioned earlier, we'll be in what was once a gap in the Heart Of The CIty but it's now Leah's Yard!

It will be the usual 'meet and mingle' with a welcome breakfast provided by Leah's Yard tennants followed by inputs from our panel of 3 speakers.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
For 'fully signed up' 3D Connect members, its free... and for initial 'Look And See-ers' it's £15 plus VAT.
