Help feed our neighbors facing hunger by donating food to the Food Bank! Local Scout troops will drop off donation bags at the doorsteps of homes across the community on Saturday, November 2. Residents are encouraged to fill the bags with non-perishable food items and place them outside their front door by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, and local Scouts will collect donations from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A BAG, you can still donate food at the Food Bank in Monroe, LA, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The most needed Food Bank items are soups, meals, and proteins in a can, as well as plastic jars of peanut butter. Any non-perishable food items are gladly accepted. If someone would like to help but can’t donate food, they can make a monetary donation online at foodbanknela.org/donate.
DRIVE DATE: Saturday, November 9
