Fire! to trio Matsa Gustafssona (saksofon, elektronika), Johana Berthlinga (gitara basowa) i Andreasa Werlina (perkusja). Powstałe w 2009 r. w celu opracowania nowego podejścia do improwizowanej muzyki, czerpią inspiracje z free jazzu, hipnotycznego slowcore, psychodelicznego rocka i elektroniki. Ich dziewięć albumów, wszystkie wydane przez Rune Grammofon, obejmuje współpracę z Jimem O`Rourke, Orenem Ambarchi i Stephenem O'Malleyem.
Fire! zawsze polegało na odnajdywaniu esencji poprzez docieranie do sedna muzyki. Ich ósmy album pokazuje trio - po raz pierwszy na płycie - zredukowane do najistotniejszych elementów; bez fletów, elektroniki, gości i dodatków, nagrane na żywo w studiu na taśmie analogowej - w stylu Steve'a Albiniego - z samym mistrzem za sterami w Electrical Audio w Chicago.

Fire! is the core trio of Mats Gustafsson (sax, electronics), Johan Berthling (bass) and Andreas Werlin (drums). Formed in 2009 to develop a fresh approach to improvised music, they draw on influences from free jazz, hypnotic slowcore, psychedelic rock and electronics. Their nine albums, all on Rune Grammofon, include collaborations with Jim O`Rourke, Oren Ambarchi and Stephen O'Malley.
Fire! have always been about finding the essence by getting to the core of the music. Their 8th album sees the trio - for the first time on record - stripped down to the bare-bones essentials; with no flutes, no electronics, no guests and no extras, recorded live in the studio to analogue tape - the Steve Albini way - with the master himself at the controls in Electrical Audio in Chicago. Thus, this album stands as a true testament to the group´s expressive power and glowing intimacy.

The concert is co-financed from the budget of the city of Poznań and takes place as part of the LAS concert series in the Pawilon.
