Dr. Delphine Red Shirt is a native American author and educator, who is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of the Pine Ridge Reservation, and A lecturer at Stanford University.
Dr. Red Shirt's lecture "The Teachings of Shell Face: Oral Tradition in Oscar Howe's Art" features an exhibition curated by Red Shirt that can be seen in the Oscar Howe Gallery, in the Historic Old Main Building on the USD Campus. 8 am- 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and by appointment.
