About this Event
Join us for a full-day conference for San Bernardino County and community partners to discuss the way agencies can empower older and dependent adults to reside securely, independently, and comfortably within their own home and community irrespective of age, income, socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical and mental capacities.
The conference will offer an exciting opportunity to:
- Understand the importance of developing comprehensive multisector individualized plans to ensure agencies provide equitable services across a wide range of clients.
- Explore ways to overcome biases and gaps in programs that may result in inequitable access to services.
- Learn about the importance of cultural equity and embody the values, policies, and practices that ensure all people, including those who have been historically underrepresented, are given equal opportunity for services.
Included in the General Admission Tickets:
Continental style breakfast - includes juice, coffee, assorted pastries and tea.
Lunch - includes salad, plated entree, and dessert.
Lunch entree options - Chicken or Vegetarian.
Late afternoon - DoubleTree cookie break.
