
About this Event
The 35th Annual Vista Rod Run features hundreds of classic cars and trucks. Car owners compete for the best of the best to win one of 30 trophies. Also featured is music throughout the event, Specialty Auto vendors and great downtown shopping and restaurants.

FAQs
What time do cars begin load-in?
Registration load-in & check-in takes place 6am-9am on Sunday, August 31st, 2025.
Parking is first come, first served. For groups and clubs, please meet and stage off-site and drive in together.
The show begins and is open to the public at 9am. After 9am, no entries will be accepted.
The show ends at 2pm - no cars are permitted to exit prior to this time.
Do I have to bring my printed registration to the event?
It is recommended you present either a printed or digital version of your registration at check in, in order to expedite the process.
Is it ok if the vehicle information on the registration doesn't match the vehicle I bring to the show?
No. If you need to update your registration to change your vehicle type you must contact us at rodrun@theperfectevent.com
How do I ensure my vehicle is eligible for an award?
All participants will receive a vehicle placard with their vehicle’s information and a unique number at the information tent.
Please make sure this card is visible to judges by placing it in your vehicle’s drivers side dashboard.
Do I have to be present during the award ceremony?
Award winners do not have to be present during the ceremony, but we'd love the opportunity to recognize you. Winners, or a designated representative, need to collect their awards prior to event conclusion, as award trophies will not be mailed out.
Is there food available for spectators and participants?
We have many great restaurants for breakfast and lunch in Downtown Vista, as well as a variety of local food vendors.
Rules for Participants?
Vehicles must remain on-site until 2 PM. No alcohol, loud music, or burnouts.
Is cash accepted at the event?
No, please note that our event is cashless. We will only be accepting credit card payments.
What's the refund policy?
No Refunds. All registration sales are final. This registration is not redeemable for cash. Unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Reproduction of this registration is not permitted.
