About this Event
350 Santa Fe resumes its climate film series at the Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe with The Letter: A Message for the Earth. In this time in which U.S. climate policy is going backwards, attempting to bring back some imagined golden age of indiscriminate consumption of fossil fuels, the moral case for climate justice remains as meaningful as ever. The late Pope Francis made the preservation of our climate one of his leading issues with his Laudato Si’ encyclical. Following the film, an interfaith panel of religious leaders have been invited to discuss the significance of the encyclical beyond the Catholic community, and its potential for a broader movement based around the moral case for curbing greenhouse gas emissions.
This in-person event is a great opportunity to learn, discuss, and connect with like-minded individuals. Don't miss out on this chance to be informed and inspired!
